The client understands it is their responsibility to work on all homework assignments provided by the dog trainer to teach their dog better behavior. All training services need to be completed within 3 months after payment unless otherwise arranged with the dog trainer beforehand. All training services will be postponed if the dog begins to display symptoms of a condition that requires medical care. Training services may be postponed up to 4 weeks if a medical condition arises and may resume once medical clearance is provided from the dog’s primary care veterinarian. Training services will be canceled without refund if medical clearance is not provided. The client agrees to provide all necessary training equipment for all training sessions which includes but is not limited to treats, toys, leash, collar, and harness. The dog trainer will notify the client if specific equipment is required. Optimal Canine may use any pictures or videos of the dog(s) during training for marketing purposes without any liability or obligation to the client. The client understands that Optimal Canine has a 24 hour partial refund policy. Upon payment the client has 24 hours to request a partial refund. No refund will be issued after 24 hours. The client understands there are 24 hours to cancel a scheduled training session via telephone, text message, or email. If the session is not canceled and is a no-show, the client will be charged as though they have received one full training session. The dog trainer will not be held responsible for any injuries, including death, that may occur to the dog when in the care of the dog trainer. Additionally, the dog trainer will not be held responsible for any damage that may occur to the dog’s equipment when training with the dog trainer. The use of physical punishment is grounds to terminate services. Physical punishment includes but is not limited to, hitting the dog, choke chains, pinch collars, e-collars (“shock” collars).
