Virtual dog training with Ronny LeJeune provides a unique teaching experience to dog owners and dog training professionals throughout the United States and world. This program is designed to outfit the dog owner with the skills needed to train their dog and improve their handling skills.
What behaviors are taught during virtual dog training lessons?
A personalized training program is created for every dog to accomplish the goals set by the pet parents. The dog trainer can teach and strengthen a variety of obedience skills, tricks, and performance sports for dogs of all ages and breeds:

Create and improve a dog's desire to chase, retrieve, and tug on toys.
Recall: Come When Called
Cultivate a strong and reliable recall that extends beyond the backyard and can be used in the real world.
Loose Leash Walking
Create a dog that chooses to walk alongside of the handler in the neighborhood and public places.
Obedience & Tricks
Teach the necessary skills to pass all Canine Good Citizen Levels and Trick Dog Titles.
Cooperative Care
Create cooperative husbandry behaviors such as nail trims, bathing, grooming, and veterinary exam prep.
Canine Performance & Sports
Canine Fitness Foundations
Teach the necessary foundation skills to progress to a Custom Canine Fitness Program tailored to individual needs.
Retrieves & Happy Holds
Teach the necessary skills to pass all Fetch Titles as well as progress to advanced Retrieves for Hunt and Field Tests.
Scent Detection: Nosework
Imprint odors and develop search drive to progress skills for AKC, UKC, and NACSW Nosework competitions.
Footstep Tracking
Develop a dog's natural ability to track scent on the ground for AKC and UKC style footstep tracking.
Reinforcement Procedures
Strengthen the application of food and toys as a method of reinforcement for sport performance training.
Individual instruction provided during virtual lessons provides pet parents with the skills needed to achieve the desired behaviors to improve relationship and accomplish their goals.
What do I receive from virtual private lessons?
Virtual dog training lessons are designed to their dog owner how to train their dog. Therefore, the dog trainer works individually with the pet parent to provide the following valuable service features:
Initial Phone Consultation
A phone consultation is completed before all virtual dog training lessons. The consultation is intended to discuss the pet owner's training goals, schedule all virtual lessons, and provide management techniques to improve the dog's current behavior in the home.
Virtual Dog Training Lessons
All virtual lessons are held on Zoom Video Conferencing and are recorded. A copy of every virtual lesson is provided after the lesson is complete.
Video Analysis
The client is provided the opportunity to submit video footage of their homework assignment to receive feedback on how to progress the skills further.
Learning Resources
The dog trainer provides learning and reference materials to support the pet parents in maintaining their dog's behaviors.
Virtual Dog Training Private Lesson Pricing
Optimal Canine’s Virtual Dog Training Lessons are available to dog owners in the United States and the world. All virtual dog training services are provided between Monday and Thursday from 12:00pm to 6:00pm; and Sunday from 10:00am to 6:00pm Central Time. Fridays and Saturdays are not available.

*Pay As Needed option is only available to existing clients who have enrolled in a full private training, virtual training, or day training program. This option is not available to new clients.
Payments can be completed in 3 installments (available only on request). The first payment is to book the phone consultation and the fee is $120. The second payment is completed at the end of the phone consultation and the fee is 50% of the selected package minus the fee paid for the phone consultation. The final payment is the remaining balance which is due 2 business days before the first virtual lesson. Services must be paid in full to begin virtual lessons.
How does the virtual lessons work?
All virtual lessons are held on Zoom Video Conferencing software and is required to be installed on the dog owner’s phone or laptop. Ronny provides dog training instruction by demonstrating the skills with recorded video content during the virtual lesson. The demonstration is intended to provide the dog’s owner with the steps to teach their dog the desired behaviors. Homework is provided to the dog owner based on the demonstration provided.
Therefore, the dog owner develops the skills needed to teach their dog the skills needed to achieve their goals.
What are the requirements for the day training program?
Dogs 8 weeks and older can enroll in virtual lessons but restrictions may apply. Behavior cases including dog-to-dog aggression, dog-to-human aggression, and separation anxiety are given referrals to professionals who specializes in complex behavior cases. Each referral is unique to the dog’s individual needs are requires a behavioral assessment to determine the appropriate professional to refer to.
