How do the dog training work when exercising the dog?
The service focuses on developing Engagement, Recall, and Loose Leash Walking. These three skills are the core foundations to ensure that the dog and the handler enjoys their time at a park or hiking trail. Training begins in low distracting environments to ensure the dog is successful; but the difficulty is increased as the dog shows understanding of the skills being taught.
Therefore, the dog develops desirable behaviors needed for physical activities at parks and hiking trails.
What are the requirements for the Exercise Excursion service?
All dogs are accepted in the program, including dogs that require behavior modification but there are limitations. Completion of the dog trainer’s behavior modification program is required for dogs that exhibit anxiety, fear, and aggression towards people and dogs.
